Donating comes in many forms - all are equally important to our rescue efforts. You can choose to volunteer your time, items or money. SDSR is a 501(c)(3) charity, which means you can get a tax write-off for your donations. A very special THANK YOU! to all of our current and previous supporters!

Trips to the vet
Trips to the groomers
Taking pictures of spaniels in shelters
Walking the dogs
Taking dog bedding to the laundramat
Become a foster home
Show off dogs at our adoption events
Taking the time to scan the newspapers for coupons to clip and send to us for Doggie Related items is a great way to help donate money without actually spending any of your own!

Donating Money:
Hold a garage sale to raise money for SDSR
Donate 10% (or more!) of your business' income to SDSR
At Halloween time, trick-or-treat to raise money for SDSR
Be creative and surprise us!
Your money and generous support is what helps keep the doors open at San Diego Spaniel Rescue. If you want to earmark your donations for a specific use (ie: vetting, microchipping, boarding) or for a certain dog, this can be done. Just let us know! To donate with a check, please make your check payable to SDSR and mail to San Diego Spaniel Rescue, P.O. Box 179043, San Diego, CA 92177.

Dog Food $15.00 per month per dog
Heartworm Prevention, Flea/Tick Prevention
Grooming/Bathing
Microchipping $37.50 per dog
Heartworm testing $18.00 per dog
Fecal Float (checking for worms) $20.00 per dog
Phone line, Gas for car, Office Supplies
Boarding $180.00 per month per dog, when foster homes aren't available
