    THE SAN DIEGO SPANIEL SOCIAL: Saturday June 6th - Doyle Park Dog Park
    1 pm - ? pm at 8175 Regents Road
    Join fellow Cocker Spaniel enthusiasts (and their dogs!) for a leisurely get together. Our San Diego Spaniel Social happens monthly. Beginning at 1:00 pm, for about an hour, your Spaniels can mingle and romp in the enclosed safety of the fenced-in dog park located at 8175 Regents Road. This is a great opportunity to bond with your canine companion while providing socialization skills - not to mention a chance to show off the apple of your eye!     Saturday June 6th - Special fundraising yard sale

    Lakeside Veterinary Hospital 7 am - ? pm at 9924 Maine Ave, Lakeside
    SDSR is co partnering with Boxer Rescue, Labrador Rescuers and Lakeside Veterinary Hospital for a yard sale! Lakeside Veterinary Hospital is accepting all donations now until the 6th. The sale starts at 7 am and goes until we run out of treasures to sell or people to buy them! Just take your donations to the vet's office and they will sort and price everything for us. Contact SDSR for your donation receipt. We will need volunteers to work the event on the 6th, so keep this date open to help out. Take donations to Lakeside Veterinary Hospital 9924 Maine Ave,. Lakeside CA 92040 (619) 390-2342.

    ADOPTION EVENT: Saturday, June 13th - Petco/La Mesa
    11 am - 2 pm at 8501 Fletcher Parkway
    Hello, East County! One of our favorite Petcos, come see us at Petco La Mesa (8501 Fletcher Parkway) from 11 am - 2 pm. Make a Spaniel smile and enjoy a relaxing morning with us. Pre-approved adopters can take a new family member home from these events - all other potential adopters must go through our screening process first (application form, telephone interview, home visit and reference checks.

    ADOPTION EVENT: Saturday June 20th - Petco/Mission Viejo (Orange County)
    11 am - 2 pm at 25592 El Paseo
    Orange County, here we come! San Diego Spaniel Rescue represents Orange County Cocker Spaniels, too. We'll be there with some of our adoptable Spaniels at 25592 El Paseo from 11 am - 2 pm. Come take the time to play with the Cocker Spaniels! Pick up a unique doggie bandana or collar scunchie for your special pet! Fill up our donation jar! Pre-approved adopters can take a new family member home from these events - all other potential adopters must go through our screening process first (application form, telephone interview, home visit and reference checks).

    THE OCEANSIDE SPANIEL SOCIAL: Saturday June 20th - Oceanside Dog Park
    11 am - ? pm at 2905 San Luis Rey Road
    Join fellow Cocker Spaniel enthusiasts (and their dogs!) for a leisurely get together. Our Oceanside Spaniel Social happens monthly. Beginning at 11:00 am, for about an hour, your Spaniels can mingle and romp in the enclosed safety of the fenced-in dog park located at 2905 San Luis Rey Road, provided by North Coastal Humane Society. This is a great opportunity to bond with your canine companion while providing socialization skills - not to mention a chance to show off the apple of your eye!     Saturday June 27th - San Diego County Fair

    Del Mar Fair Grounds, 11 am - 7 pm, 2260 Jimmy Durante Blvd. Del Mar, CA
    SDSR will be manning a promotional/educational booth at the 2009 San Diego County Fair. We will be in the AgriFair section, the Wyland Center, that's the building with the Whale on the east side. Our dogs will be featured to show off the breed. Come on by and check us out!

    ADOPTION EVENT: Sunday July 12th - Petco/Hillcrest
    11 am - 3 pm at 308 Washington, Hillcrest
    Some of our available Cocker Spaniels will be strutting their stuff with their handlers at 308 Washington off 163, in the heart of Hillcrest, across from CVS, from 11 am - 3 pm. This is the grand opening and should be a great day! Choose your favorite from our Spaniels and play with your newest doggie friend. Pre-approved adopters can take a new family member home from these events - all other potential adopters must go through our screening process first (application form, telephone interview, home visit and reference checks).
