Seniors for Seniors:
Having a pet is a wonderful experience! The act of petting your companion animal lowers blood pressure, reduces stress and provides us with a reason to get out of bed and take a leisurely walk around the block - another health benefit. And the unconditional love from an adoring canine can't be beat!But training a puppy isn't for everyone - and our community's valued Seniors may not be up to the energy level that a younger pooch comes bundled with. Add to that the reality of many Seniors being on a more restricted budget. So San Diego Spaniel Rescue is offering our "Seniors for Seniors" program. The following senior foster dogs (aged 10+) can be adopted by a local Senior (65 or older) for a reduced adoption donation of $75.00. This program is for San Diego County Seniors only at this time.

Permanent Fosters:
This is where our Permanent Foster program comes into play. A PF home knows that for whatever time the dog of their choice has left, it will be there with them. And when any financial concerns come along, SDSR is there to help. Dogs aged 12+ are eligible to any approved adopter as a Permanent Foster. Just email SDSR if you are interested in giving back to a dog what they have provided for over 12 years - unconditional love and devotion!
