San Diego County is lucky - many of the impounded Spaniels find adopters before their hold time is up. Not all of them, though, are able to find homes. Please take a look at these sweet faces and see if any of them would be a good match for your home and family.

The information we have provided is the info posted on their kennels or sent to us by their adoption counselors. For more details or to place an adoption hold on any of these dogs, please call the shelter they are housed at.

SDSR will help any of these dogs go to an established rescue. For our purposes you do not have to be a 501c3, but you do need to be a rescue with verifiable references. You can contact SDSR directly for more information. If you are a private adopter, please contact the shelter directly as these dogs are not yet in our care.
