Entry #3 - It's you! Welcome back to my diary! I've been busy telling my rescue friends all about me. Turns out that I was just a little scared coming out of the shelter - I'm really a pussycat where other doggies are concerned. I even let the puppy play king o'the mountain ... and I'm the mountain! I still get a little anxious when my human leaves the house, so I feel better when I'm crated all safe and sound at those times (nothing longer than 5 hours, please!). And I'm still a little vocal when I get left at home, so if you live in an apartment, you might want to look at one of my rescue doggie friends. I love to run and play, and I'm best if kept on leash when we are out and about - those birdies stir my instincts and I love to check out under bushes to find them! Night time is my favorite tho. Snuggling close on the sofa, and then snuggling close in bed. That's what I'm talking about! I'm ready to meet you know!

Entry #2 - Hey cool, nice to see you again! I'm still Hutch, and I'm looking for just the right home. I like to jump over fences, and would rather be WITH you than wanting to be with you. No kiddos and a doggie experienced home is what I'm dreaming of. Tummy rubs and tennis balls. Want to teach me agility and put my jumpin' to good use? Hey, THAT sounds like fun! Entry #1 - Hey you there! I'm Hutch, an American Cocker Spaniel. I think I'm about 4 years old. I can't remember much about what my life was like. I was a stray on the street and no one came to claim me at the shelter, so the nice staff there called SDSR to help me find my perfect home. My long hair was pretty matted, I feel so much nicer now after my bath and spa day!
I'm a good boy. I bond fast to my peeps and enjoy other dogs as long as they aren't too pushy. I don't have a problem telling pushy canines to mind their manners, so I might be too bossy for young humans. Don't know what a cat is yet, tho. Are you ready for a Cocker that wants nothing more than to be YOUR special forever friend? Hey, that sounds like ME!
