  • Entry #2 - Hi I知 Holly, but my foster mom calls me Lucy because she says I reminded her of a character from a movie and that made me feel almost famous so I like my new name a lot. I might take a little time to get to know you and I appreciate you being patient with me while I do. But once I am comfortable I want to be your best friend. As a matter of fact I love cuddling and would make an excellent coach potato if you want me to be one while you watch TV. Don't get me wrong though I have a playful side and like a good game of fetch...did I mention I love tennis balls? When I see my brush I get so excited. I love being brushed and having some one-on-one time with my human. My foster mom says I am really smart (even smarter than her dog) 'cause I learned how to give a "high five" in one 30 second session. Not bad huh? Oh, and I learned really quickly where my foster dad gets his ice cubes - I love those cold, slippery, crunching goodies! I like other dogs and have met a couple cats, but they don't seem like very much fun, just lying around all the time. Kids are kind of scary to me. I didn't grow up with them and they make loud noises and their toys are loud and scary too. My foster mom has only college kids and they are calmer and their voices sound more like my foster mom and dad. I will sleep in my crate or next to your bed at night; remember I like to be close to you when you are home. My foster mom says I never got in to any trouble in the house when she goes on errands. I just lay by the door waiting for her to come home. Speaking of home, I really would love a forever home of my own.
  • Entry #1 - Hello, my name is Holly and I知 a one-year old Cocker Spaniel. My human mom can稚 keep up with me any longer and she asked Rescue to come help me out. I love my mom and dad! They致e been my whole-wide world for all my life! Outside seems so scary, but Rescue tells me that I値l get a new folks who can help teach me about all the fun things out there. I知 really shy right now, can you tell? Can you teach me? I知 ready to learn!
